Above, the white and gold color scheme in this tablescape by borrowed BLU strikes the perfect festive note.
The holidays are a time to sparkle and shine — especially when it comes to your tabletop. If you’re looking for inspiration for sit-down dinners, brunches, New Year’s gatherings, or winter get-togethers, here’s a few of our favorite tabletop designs found on Instagram:
A Centerpiece of Leaves & Blooms
I’m sharing 23 Things I’m Thankful For today on the blog. One of them is getting to work and collaborate with other inspiring women like @nancyb.creative, @maxitflowerdesign + @katerobinsonphotography. Another is getting to do something I love and connecting with all of you. Thank you for sharing this journey with me and continuing to inspire and motivate me everyday. #blessed #thankful #gratitudejournal
A low arrangement of flowers and leaves makes a sophisticated centerpiece on the table of Caroline Harper Knapp. The metallic flatware and accessories, along with the simple white tablecloth, brighten up the look.
Touch of Plaid
Ahhh sneak peek of one of my favorite holiday weddings 🌲 Molly + Michael's stunning winter nuptials will be featured soon on one of our favorite blogs but just 1 tiny peek into their reception at one of Cleveland's most historic locations, The Union Club. It was important for the couple to include a specific Black Watch Scottish tartan which can be found throughout many details of their day, from the flower girl dress to monogrammed napkins and pocket squares. The bride has the most exquisite taste 👌🏻these two will be celebrating their 1-year anniversary very soon ❤️ Gorgeous winter florals 🌿 by @leaf_ebt_akron | stationery | @aerialistpress | planning/styling @acharmingfete @_laurenhibbard_ | 📷 @emilymillayphotography
Though this gorgeous table by A Charming Fete Events was for a winter wedding, we think the concept would translate beautifully to a holiday dinner. Plaid ribbons stand in for napkin rings, bringing the seasonal pattern to the table in a subtle way.
A Natural Runner
At @daniellegibsonevents we’re all about the subtle details and a pop of color! Here’s a glimpse into our recent holiday lunch where we #taketimetotoast another successful (and fun!🎉) year of events. Thank you @ramsgatewinery for a lovely afternoon filled with a delicious meal and wine to match🍷click the #linkinbio for more table styling recs with these #hearthandhand napkins + decor. #dgibsonevents #sonoma #napavalley #eventplanner #tablescape #holidaydecor #holidayparty #ramsgatewinery #holidaytable #partydecor #taketimetotoast #cometogether #sonomastrong #ramsgate
Danielle Gibson Events lets the natural texture of a wooden dining table shine by leaving it bare. The lush pine swag, used as a runner, nods to the season while complementing the wood texture.
A Dash of Red
We’re pulling together a little holiday lunch for our AMAZING team tomorrow. Wishing, we had purchased boatloads more of this fabulous VINTAGE @schumacher1889 fabric we scored a few years ago!! 📷 @alisongootee @southernlivingmag @suzonnestirling #tablescape #holidaylunch #bestteam #ikat #pink #colorcrush #holidaytable #jillrosenwaldpatternplates #vintagelover #pencilandpaperholiday #pencilandpaper #riflepaperco
Pencil and Paper Co. creates a delightful setting for a holiday lunch by combining patterns — and opting for a refreshing blue and red color scheme.
Walking past the dining room this morning makes me so happy. I am excited to share a few weeks with the kids as Christmas break for the youngest starts today. We have a holiday bucket list a mile long with some fabulous things to do, see and experience together. First on the list … put up our den tree as a family tomorrow and watch a movie by the twinkle lights tomorrow night. We will be having brunch on Sunday here in the dining room and I’m so happy it’s already set up and ready to go. Starting today we are jam packed with events and fun family stuff and I can’t wait to experience it all!!! Happy Friday! 🎄💕 Photo by @christinawedge
Paige Minear of The Pink Clutch also goes whimsical with her holiday table. She piled on shining ornaments into a mix of ceramic and porcelain bowls to create a simple yet impressive centerpiece.
Black & Gold
Though this idea from Casa de Perrin dates back to a June black-tie event, we thought that it would be stunning for a New Year’s table. The black tablecloth dramatically contrasts gold plates, flatware, and accessories for a glamorous look.
