Viyet: What inspired this career path for you?
Alessandra: Happenstance…it naturally evolved from my love of architecture and art.
Viyet: What is your go-to source for inspiration?
Alessandra: Travel and museums.
Viyet: Tell us about your creative process.
Alessandra: I spend a lot of time researching newer color combos, textiles, and art. Then I study the plans and let the rest follow.

Alessandra: New classics with a twist. Updated!
Viyet: What’s a staple in your tool kit?
Alessandra: Color and texture. The mix!!

Alessandra: Everyone…before me and around me.
Viyet: If you could design a space for anyone, what kind of space and for whom would it be?
Alessandra: I would love to design a school for young children.

Alessandra: Design is dreaming made visible.

Alessandra: All of them.

Alessandra: I love the idea of repurposing beautifully crafted objects. I’ve always loved to mix the old with new. It gives character and depth to an interior.
