7 Fabulous Hotels For Design Lovers

When thinking of hotels, what comes to mind is the same old cookie-cutter design: Simple furnishings, minimal decor, neutral walls, etc. But a few hotels are realizing that some guests (ourselves included!) crave more than a standard anonymous space. From Australia to America, the following hotels hired big-name designers to create a space that’ll be remembered long after a stay. Did we miss any? Let us know in the comments!

Halcyon House, Australia

Designer: Anna Spiro

Why We Love It: No two rooms in this hotel are the same! The decor was sourced from all over the world, as well as estate sales and antique fairs. The best part of this hotel, besides the fun colors? Guests are greeted with an ice-cream cart as soon as they walk in!

The Parker Palm Springs, California

Designer: Jonathan Adler

Why We Love It: This villa makes us want to run to Palm Springs right now just to bask in the mid-century-inspired splendor. Not only does the hotel have a special Jonathan Adler showroom (of course), guests enjoy Hermes soaps in their bathroom. What’s not to love?
