To celebrate our launch in LA we tapped Joe Lucas, interior designer and Harbinger Showroom owner, to curate and consign some of his favorite pieces.

Here are his top picks:

1. French Louis XVI Side Chairs

“I’m obsessed with these upholstered painted chairs, which I covered in modern cotton chintz from Muriel Brandolini for Holland and Sherry for a more updated twist on a classic shape. Great for a hallways or master vanity.

“This vintage rattan love seat, painted a perfect dark British racing green, screamed for a classic old school preppy textile and this Sister Parish floral fit the bill. I see this fitting in a great Cape Cod sun room or a traditional master bath – it’s the perfect spot to read or enjoy your morning coffee.”

4. Extra Large Faux Tortoise Shell Tray

“This beautiful grand tray has a gorgeous painted tortoise design on it. Great for a large ottoman coffee table or build your own base to lay it on top.”

4. Vintage Chinoiserie Secretaire

“Who doesn’t love a great Chinese red painted secretaire?!  This is a classic piece that will make an impact in any home. Perfect for a grand entry or a master bedroom – flank it with a great pair of hall chairs and you’ve got a winning combination.”
